Employer Requirement

​

• Have been in active business for 3 years

• Have business in Ontario

 

• If business is operating in the Greater Toronto Area

  • Minimum $1,000,000 total gross revenue 

  • At least five full-time who are Canadian citizens or PR employees

 

• If business is operating outside the Greater Toronto Area in certain census divisions

  • Ottawa, Waterloo, Hamilton, Simcoe, Middlesex, Niagara, Essex, Wllington, Greater Sudbury/Grand Sudbury, Frontenac, Brant, Peterborough, Hastings, Thunder Bay regions

  • Minimum $500,000 total gross revenue 

  • At least three full-time who are Canadian citizens or PR employees

• If business is operating at any location not specified above (GTA or certain census divisions)

  • Minimum $250,000 total gross revenue in the last two most recent fiscal years

  • At least three full-time who are Canadian citizens or PR employees

Applicant Requirement

​

1) TEER 0~3 Category 

​

• At least 6 months of consecutive, paid full-time work expreince in the job offer position, within 12 months of the application submission 

• If a recent Ontario graduate (graduated within last 3 years), at least 3 months of consecutive, paid full-time work expreince in the job offer position, within 12 months of the application submission 

• At least 2 years of cumulative, paid full-time work experience in the same NOC occupation as the job offer position (or different position if in NOC 33102, NOC Sub-Major Group 223 or NOC 33103) within 5 years of the application submission

• Valid licence or other authorization, if required by the job offer occupation

​

• CLB level 6 or higher in all four proficiencies in English or French tests

• CLB level 5 or higher in all four proficiencies only if job offer position is a skilled trade occupations, or

• Proof of graduation from an eligible Ontario institution within the last 3 years (2-year degree or diploma, Graduate Certificate, Master’s degree, PhD degree)

• At least one of the followings for education

  • A postsecondary degree or diploma that takes at least one year full-time to complete from an eligible Canadian instituition or an equivalent foreign instituition

  • A Canadian secondary school (high school) diploma or its equivalent in another country, if your job offer position  is a skilled trade occupation

  • For a job offer in NOC 33102—Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates, proof of an Ontario college certificate that requires at least one year of full-time study from an eligible Canadian institution

• A legal status in Canada (visitor record, study permit, work permit, maintained status)

​

• Intention to live and work in Ontario

2) TEER 4~5 Category 

​

• At least 9 months of cumulative, paid full-time work expreince in the job offer position, within 2 years of the application submission 

• Valid licence or other authorization, if required by the job offer occupation

• CLB level 4 or higher in all four proficiencies in English or French tests

• A Canadian secondary school (high school) diploma or its equivalent in another country

• A legal status in Canada (visitor record, study permit, work permit, maintained status)

• Intention to live and work in Ontario
