Most visitors can stay in Canada for up to 6 months. However, it is the border services officer’s discretion to allow longer or shorter stay. Depends on your nationality, either eTA or visitor visa is required to enter Canada
Basic requirements to enter Canada

Have a valid travel document, such as a passport

Have a valid eTA or visitor visa

Be in good health

Have no criminal or immigration-related convictions

Convince a border services officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit

Have enough money for your stay

Biometrics (Fingerprints and Photo)
Starting from December 31, 2018, applicants from Asia, Asia Pacific and the Americas are also required to give biometrics.

Super Visa (for parents and grandparents)
Parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident can apply for super visa. Applicant can stay in Canada for up to 2 years
